Describe your website.

Information about what I do as an independent choreographer. My biography. Information about previous projects. Information about work I am creating currently. Photo galleries of past works. Videos of past and present works. Information about upcoming performances. I want to inform potential audiences about my shows as well collaborators and promoters about my work for future opportunities

Who is the target audience for your website?

Dancers, dance lovers, dance audiences, students, art and theatre enthusiasts, choreographers, composers, designers, dance promoters, dance critics, dance writers, dance teachers, dance scholars, peformers, actors, musicians, directors, film and videos artists and directors.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

My website is full of wonderful, colorful, theatrical and striking images of dance theatre and choreography, with lots of information about my particular field of work as a contemporary choreographic artist and performer. My wesbsite will inform visitors about the creative mind and body behind the performance work and images in a resfreshingly direct but playful way.

Tell us a story about this website.

I was trying to find the perfect photo to serve my website on the home page, and nothing felt right. When I had reached complete exhaustion I played around with some of my rough sketches, and after a few tries, one of these drawings just clicked and created a whole new visual concept for the overall website that felt very light, spacious and playful.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

I chose one of the most minimal designs because I wanted to have as much of a 'blank canvas' as possible to play with my own visual aesthetic and design ideas.
