Describe your website.

I have always had my own website, but I never was really satisfied with it. I didn't have enough time to keep it updated. But now that I am pensioned, I like to show my photographs to anybody who wants to see them. Nature is the favorite place to be, but I also like to travel a lot and that is where I also take my camera with me. Furthermore I like timelapse photography and 360º panoramashttp://www.leonbeek.nl/canon/panorama/">panoramas.

Who is the target audience for your website?

Well, anybody who every now and then likes to have a look at what another person sees through his or her camera is welcome to have a look, but also photographers who would like to criticize or just have a look at my way of seeing things.

What is the advantage of your website over others?

Just look at my pages to have some pleasant minutes. Just enjoy, maybe somebody visite the same places and through my pictures, you may remember those days. That would be fine.

Tell us a story about this website.

I tried a lot of times to build a site of my own, but I always came up with the problem that there was no recognizable structure and people didn't look very often. This changed as soon as I started to use Sandvox. For me, [it is] the easiest way to make a nice looking website.

Why did you use this Sandvox design?

Now that I use Sandvox, I chose a design in which I felt I could best place my photos. By using submenus, it is possible to group different subjects, which is pleasant for visitors, so they can easily find photos they would like to have a look at.

What techniques did you use to build this website?

As I use many photos, I chose to only place links to the different albums I made with Jalbum. This gave me the possibility to create photo albums [the way I] want them to look and place them in a very easy way in a fine looking and easy working webpage.
